4th Infectiology International Conference of Oran: the team of Prof. Daouda K. Minta wins the best Communications awards
The Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry (FMOS) and the whole of Mali have just been honoured in Algeria. Prof. Daouda K. Minta’s team received the best oral Communications awards, at the 4th International Infectiology Conference in Oran, held from January 25 to 27, 2019.
The Fourth International Conference of Infectiology of Oran was organized by the hospital-university Center of Oran and the Algerian Society of Infectiology of Oran. Under the theme « Focus on two aspects of infectiology in the 21st century », participants in the meeting discussed the following main themes: Postoperative infections: Management, prevention (hospital hygiene), treatment Infections in immunocompromised, HIV infections, viral hepatitis, therapeutic education.
This conference was aimed at asking about all the new developments in the management of infectious diseases. Anti-infectious therapies are constantly evolving, hence the interest of these kinds of meetings that allow to update the knowledge of the medical staff.
Specialists in several specialties such as infectiology, hematology, resuscitation and microbiology of various hospital departments in the country took part to this scientific event alongside foreign counterparts Guests from several countries including Mali.
The dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry, Prof. Seydou DOUMBIA addresses the laureates, his warm congratulations.
